THE ROLE
The Nordic Sales Team is responsible for covering the Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Norwegian markets. The strategy for the coming years in the Nordics to further grow the Bolsius brand, within existing channels and customers, and beyond.
We have a good market position in the Nordics where we have grown over the years, and are present across different channels, both in retail and Foodservice.

The team consists of one Sales Manager Nordics who oversees operations, supported by four National Account Managers, each focusing on driving growth and maintaining key relationships within their respective markets and countries.
One colleague National Account Manager focuses on the Out of Home/B2B business in the Nordics, one focuses on Finland, one focuses on the Retail/Garden Business in Sweden and for this vacancy, you will focus on key accounts in Denmark and Norway.

In this position, you work mainly from home. The ideal candidate is located in Sweden (for example in region Malmö), but speaks Danish and knows the Danish market.

 


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The National Account Manager is responsible for:

  • The revenue and margin growth of the assigned territory including all national customers
  • Creating and taking care of the implementation of the account and category management plans on the multi-year sales plan in order to realize structural revenue and margin growth
  • The preparation, monitoring and implementation of annual account plans for both new customers and existing customers, which include the following elements:
    - Product range: increasing weighted distribution
    - Optimize category and brand presentation
    - Realize activation and promotion plans
    - Make condition and price agreements
  • Developing, monitoring and realizing an accurate and reliable sales forecast (in collaboration with demand planning)
  • Co-building the optimum distribution policy for existing products and new innovations.
  • Being the representative of the territory in the internal organization by observing and determining customer and market needs, providing feedback to the internal departments and stakeholder management.
  • Act as Sales expert for Trade Marketing and Category Management departments and provide input on projects related to development of displays, PR, advertising and New Product Development.
  • Provide input for and contribute to the definition of medium-term sales strategy and short-term targets, channel strategies and connected commercial / business structure in cooperation with the Sales Manager of the Nordics.
  • Translating the overall Bolsius strategy in a dedicated territory strategic plan.
  • Lead the cross functional team meetings with demand planning, customer service, finance, shopper and marketing team.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a strong commercial, passionate and results driven National Account Manager. You should bring the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor / University education (MBA) in a commercial direction;
  • At least 5 years sales experience with FMCG in mass-market accounts, preferably supermarket / hypermarket with branded propositions;
  • Experience in dealing / negotiating with senior buyers at leading companies in mass market channel (relationship management, influencing skills);
  • Leadership and an entrepreneurial self-starter: Provides direction to customers and stakeholders that are needed to achieve the Bolsius ambition
  • Basic knowledge of and/or affinity with category management, marketing and trade marketing;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Action and results oriented, decisive and  performance motivated;
  • Strong communication skills and command of English (verbal and written) at a business level;
  • Fluency in Danish is an advantage.
